Who is Responsible for State Shortfalls
February 23, 2011 by ItheConsumer.
With almost every state in the union seeing red one must ask themselves who is responsible for the states shortfall. Now Governor Walker and other republican governors are blaming the pay of Public Workers, yet can offer no proof that even one Public Worker approved a single budget for the state. No, instead of finding a way to honor the state obligations it seems that Walker and others want to downgrade the states worth since no longer can a person put confidence in future deals. Nevertheless, who is responsible for so many states having budget problems?
For though I’m not sure who is in charge of the State of Wisconsin investments; however, it does seem like a reasonable place to start. Yet, Walker and other Governors have not even been willing to hold hearings on how the state could be so far in debt. And considering the last job held by Walker, it isn’t that he does not know who is responsible, but seems to be protecting his fellow Elected and Public Workers by not naming names. Why? When the burden of the debt extends directly from those Elected and Public Workers whose job it is to manage and protect the investments of the state.
So why it seems the parents want to blame the children for them wanting to much, I do believe the protesters should ask the Media id they know who is responsible for the state losing billions over the last few years. For why we can rule out the Public Worker and Taxpayer simply due to the fact they did not have the means, but considering Wisconsin did not have an unmanageable budget problem until Walker took office. Well, it sounds like a good place to begin. For certainly these money just didn’t disappear overnight. And we can rule out a falling market so who is responsible for losing over $3 billion dollars?
However, what amazes the most is how the Governors seem ignorant to the fact they can ask their Citizens to invest in the future of the state and take advantage of its prosperity in the coming years. Is this not still taught in Institutions of Higher Learning? Do they not know this from their Civil Classes in High School? Yes, Wall Street might not like the idea of ordinary people holding more state bonds; however, given the opportunity to invest in a brighter future or pay more in taxes. Is there even a question?
So Governor Walker who is responsible for your state losing over $3 billion dollars since you took office? For if the money wasn’t there before you took office than isn’t fair to say that you are making matters worse by giving tax cuts to corporations and the wealthy? Isn’t it fair to say that you were elected to fix the budget, but not start a national wide upraising between Labor and Management? Isn’t if fair to ask if you Governor Walker are not one of the people responsible for the budget shortfalls in Wisconsin?

Do Americans still hold a Labor and Management Point of View?
February 22, 2011 by ItheConsumer.
Given the growing number of Americans thinking Americas’ Democratic and Republican Civil, Political, and Religious Leaders are wrong one is forced to ask if Americans still believe Labor and Management can fairly represent their point of view in this Service Based Economy. For why we can all agree that something must be done to stop the Shopaholics of the 20th Century, can Labor and Management do it given they are not in control of the Corporation. Thus one is forced to ask “Do Americans still hold a Labor/Management Political Point of View?”
Personally, I would say with the decline in membership of the two political parties and more and more Americans no longer engaged in the Union and Corporate debate of Big Business the Youth of America can make the case that their parents political ideology no longer represents the Real World. In fact, the problem in Wisconsin could be easily solved simply by asking Governor Walker if he is for reducing the number of economically viable customers available to Wisconsin Business. For in reality, by reducing the Spendable Cash Public Workers through increase health care premiums payments Governor Walker is telling Wisconsin Business that they are going to have to live with less people purchasing their products.
And why it becomes a National Issue is the fact that Governor Walker and others are also telling Big Business that they will have less customers in order to meet their bottom line. In fact the only winner in the idea of having Public Workers pay more for their healthcare insurance will be the insurance companies. So why is the Media supporting the idea? In fact their Advertisers will have less money to pay the Radio and TV Stations which in turn will result in the Media Leadership having to cut the pay of Commentators and Pundits once again.
So why we all recognize the fact states must work to balance their budget, as Entrepreneurs and Consumers I do believe Americans can see that Governor Walker and others are making a mistake by demanding Public Workers make less income especially in a time when the cost of living is going up. For after seeing the events break out in the Middle East over the same issue and knowing the last thing the American Economy needs is a nationwide strike like we seen at the turn of the last century. One is forced to ask if Governor Walker and others are acting out of Ignorance or a political agenda which gives aid to Americas’ Enemy.
Yes, times are changing and why Americans do have to work to solve the Issues of the 20th Century. We must have the political courage to ask if Labor and Management, Unions and Big Business, and the Democrats and Republicans are going to still represent Americans’ Point of View in a Service based Society or during this time of General Change that new Political Leadership finds a voice to maintain Domestic Tranquility and provide a Common Defense from the enemy within and outside our borders.

More than Two Ways to Skin a Cat
February 21, 2011 by ItheConsumer.
Listening to the Media one is lead to believe Congress has only two ways to deal with the debt. Cut spending or increase taxes, yet take both those options off the table and most over the age of 30 wouldn’t be able to tell you the first thing to do to solve the problem. So if there is more than two ways to skin a cat in life than doesn’t it make Common Sense that there are more than two ways to solve Americas’ Budget and Debt problems?
For why cutting and taxing means taking away from people, the words investing and saving demonstrates the willingness to grow. And grow we must so why won’t our media ask our elected officials how they plan to invest and save America to a balanced budget and a positive cash flow? Is it because with all their education they do not know themselves what investments and savings would work. Could it be that they are so busy trying to live paycheck to paycheck that they can’t think of such things. Even worse one can believe the media advertisers are so concerned about maintaining power that they only want to see Americas’ Democratic and Republican Civil, Political, and Religious Leaders to discuss cutting spending for the American Worker while increasing the taxes on the Want-to-Be Rich.
Yes, even as state governors are telling the public workforce they have to take pay cuts and spend more on healthcare insurance they demonstrate a lack of vision which has lead to Americas’ Greatness. For already paying for Community Health Centers, I wonder how much money the state could save by allowing state employees access those services instead of paying the high premiums associated with Doctor Visits and regular checkups. How much better service could public workers provide if they were crossed trained to do more than just one job?
However, where is the talk about investing in a Smarter Government by the Governors and Media? Could it be your parents have been promoting ignorance for so long that they forgot how to use Common Sense and American Know How to solve problems or does the problem extend even further? For could it be some people believe they can retain power simply by plotting to set one side against the other so nothing gets done. Whatever the reason, the solution for States and the Federal Government is simple how do “We the People” get a Smarter Government in order to help build a Smarter Society.
Thus, why investing and saving might be a foreign subject to the Youth of the 60’s and Silver Spoons of the 70’s and we know Intelligence is not their strongest suite. The Media reflecting the political ideas of Americans are going to have to face the facts. For looking forward does Americans want a Smarter Government and Society or will they vote to cut education and funding in order to keep promoting ignorance in 2012.

Reducing Pay and Benefits for State Elected Officials
February 17, 2011 by ItheConsumer.
Since many Republican Governors want to reduce the benefits and pay of Public Workers maybe the Citizens of those states should look at reducing the benefits and pay of their Elected Officials. For if it is good for the gander than surely the governors and other elected officials wouldn’t mind if their healthcare benefits were not eliminated, their office budget was reduced, and their salary was slashed in order for the state to save money. In fact, the citizens should demand IMHO all benefits and salaries of Elected Officials be suspended immediately since it was the fault of the Governor and State Officials to insure the State Treasury.
Yes, a harsh manner to get their attention that collective bargaining and retirement agreements of Public Workers is a right Americans take seriously; however, it would be a quick test of Public Loyalty to see how many Elected Officials are willing to serve the Citizens of the State and not the interest of a few. Because why I do not blame Public Workers for protesting what is becoming a national movement to make Government Labor and Management cheaper, knowing that it goes much deeper than a pay check, I wish them luck in getting their elected officials to listen to Common Sense.
Besides, being Anti-Authoritarian I wonder if the Republicans Governors would stay or would they pull a Sarah Palin and resign when they realize they could no longer make millions by serving the nest interests of the Citizens in their State. Since just the money they make from political fund raising could easily (and in my opinion) make up for the states being in the financial problems.

Should Public Workers Just Walk Off the Job?
February 16, 2011 by ItheConsumer.
With Speaker Boehner saying “So be It” when it comes to our public workers losing their job and many Conservatives and Republicans wanting to take away Public Workers benefits and retirements, I have to ask why shouldn’t all Public Workers just walk off the job. For I wonder what these Conservatives and Republicans will do when they call 911 and no one answers or they go to drop off their children at school only to find out no one is there to watch their children as they go to work. Yes, all the protesting in the street will only help build the fires of divide as the debate goes forward; however, I wonder how many sick days it would take before Conservatives and Republicans realize that their Whole World can’t exist without Public Workers doing their job.
For imagine waking up tomorrow and find no police on the streets, no first responders answering the call for help as morning accidents pile up, or no county emergency room being open. Not to speak of entire construction projects coming to a dead halt as no inspections or permits can be done. Yes, America would truly come to a halt the day all Public Workers call in sick in protest of Conservatives and Republicans attack them by wanting to cut their pay, eliminate the benefits, and dismantle their retirement. And who can blame the Public Workers since it was Conservatives and Republicans who is responsible for the Local, State, and Federal governments being in the mess that we are in.
No, a bad idea made only worse by the fact Conservatives and Republicans are not willing to take the hard cuts they are demanding from Public Workers. For where is the Law repealing Our Elected officials benefits and retirement plans. Where is the Law demanding that all Elected Officials take the money they receive in fund raisers and put it into the Treasury? For asking someone making $100,000.00/yr. to take a 10% pay cut when they are raising millions of dollars to cover their expenses and asking someone making less than $50,000.00/yr. who by law cannot handouts or tips to take a 10% pay cut is not the same. Nor can you tell me it is for the good of the community since the Public Workers will have less money to support Local, State, and Federal Businesses.
However, by Conservatives and Republicans declaring war on Public Workers I hope they are prepared to wait days for their building, hunting, and other permits. For why would a State need more than one person to issue hunting permits when it shouldn’t matter how long citizens have to wait in line or even if those citizens can’t hunt at all that season. So I hope the Public Workers would walk off the job just to show the rest of America what will happen if the Conservatives and Republicans have their way eliminating State and Federal jobs.

Eliminating all Free Market Entitlements
February 10, 2011 by ItheConsumer.
If the Democrats really want to goat the Republicans and Tea Party than they IMHO submit a bill which would eliminate all free Market Entitlement Programs and only give tax breaks to those American Businesses engaged in building a Green Economy. For if Conservatives truly believe in the Free Market and smaller government than eliminating the government programs and tax breaks in order to save money and force the Free Market to be self sustainable would make for an interesting debate to say the least.
Yes, I suppose the House Leadership and the Senate Minority would be inflamed as well as the Media Pundits upset due to their inability to attract advertisers. Nevertheless, as Welfare for Individual Citizens underwent major change in the 1990’s so should Corporate Welfare undergo major changes as we work to lower the debt and rebuild the economy. Because why Congress can cut entitlements designed to help the middle class and poor without addressing the every growing entitlement to the Free Market the budget will continue to grow since how much money is enough for Healthcare Industry, the Oil Industry, and Corporate Farmers.
No, I do not expect the Democrats to win the first round of the debate; however, making the Republicans and Tea Party prove they are for higher debt and bigger government in order to support the Free Market without wanting to change the Corporate Welfare System will make it harder for them to cut and eliminate other social programs designed to help the middle class and poor. And why that might seem harsh to some I do believe those American Businesses who actually believe the Free Market should be opened to their products without being undercut by those industries getting government support for providing cheaply made products which do not help our government and society build a green sustainable Government and Society is a political winner especially in the 2012 Elections.
So are the Republicans and Tea Party for Free Markets, Smaller Government, and Debt Reduction or are they once again saying one thing to get elected and doing the exact opposite when in power? For giving their record so far and their lack of a plan to address debt reduction and create jobs I do believe the Democrats or even a Third Party supporting the Green Corporations of America could make great headway in showing the American Voter why they shouldn’t support the Conservatives still clearly stuck in the 20th Century. For Drill Baby Drill is not going to get Americans more jobs since the sell of American Oil draws a higher price overseas.

Building a Positive Energy Resource
January 31, 2011 by ItheConsumer.
With the need to replace oil as the primary source of energy I realize that others have their own ideas on how to sell the average citizen the electricity and fuel they will need to power the cars and homes; however, recognizing our leaders are looking for sustainability I do believe Mother Nature has already given Mankind the answer they seek. For though Bio-Mass Material http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Biomass is still a young industry it does offer advantages that no other resource of energy can match. And in my opinion is an excellent companion to Solar and Wind especially since the trio can mimic what Nature has been doing for billions of years.
Given that producing biomass material either through algae farms or factories plus the gathering of falling foliage can provide the building material needed for the 21st Century and beyond as well as be composted so that warm moist air and nutrients for the soil ban be returned. Additionally, the residual biomass can be used in furnaces to create steam which can drive generators to burn lights brighter than the sun http://www.dailygalaxy.com/my_weblog/2007/09/a-light-10-bill.html when neither the sun is shining nor wind is blowing. Because why we may not be able to control the Sun or the Wind which has always presented a problem when it comes to the steady production of electricity, in building a Renewable Energy Plant we already have the technology to combine the trio on a single platform.
For example; today we think of burning organic material http://www.eia.doe.gov/kids/energy.cfm?page=biomass_home-basics Solar Energy http://www.eia.doe.gov/kids/energy.cfm?page=biomass_home-basics and Wind Energy http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wind_turbine as being separate systems; And while all three have their limitations, together they can create a hybrid system which can work in rain or shine. Since imagine what a system could do if it was made up of a wind tunnel housing several wind mills driven by a solar fan and attached to a light from a furnace which burned residual organic waste to generate steam to drive a generator. For though complex in its figuration and mammoth in its ability to deliver a steady source of electricity I do believe the scaling of such a system could be more than enough to help every Human achieve the goal of becoming economically viable and financially independent while supplying Commerce and Trade with the raw material they need and reducing the impact of our landfills.
Thus, what seems like an impossible task will take a little bit of educating the Old Folks; nevertheless, in teaching how to mimic Nature in order to provide us with the energy and products the Human Race will require for the next 100 years and beyond seems like a good start. However, given that Mankind for centuries has been trained to do things the hard way, don’t think they are going to want to change overnight. For why we are still finding the limitations of Biomass, Solar, and Wind, considering Mother Nature has been using the same combination for billions of years. I truly wonder if the Sky is the Limit?

We’re Broke is a Lame Answer
January 27, 2011 by ItheConsumer.
Although I thought President Obama SOTU was a little lame, some of the responses I have heard were still lamer; however, the lamest response I heard so far comes from Speaker Boehner. For if that was the case than shouldn’t we lay him off. And though I am open to that idea I don’t think others in Congress would find it that funny. Because why one could say that the Republicans have accomplished their mission in bleeding the government dry, others might say it is Speaker Boehners’ Opinion that we are broke since the government still functions today. In any case, I still believe Speaker Boehner wins the award for the lamest response to President Obamas’ SOTU.

They’re Back
January 24, 2011 by ItheConsumer.
Having grown up in the 80’s when the Corporate Raiders of Wall Street were busy taking away many of Americans pension funds, I hear talk from the Media on how they want to change the laws so state pension funds today can be raided. And why that should send every American running saying “Honey bar the doors” it seems that most of the commentators are estranged from the fact that many of the states borrowed these funds in good faith in order to keep their taxes from having to be increased over the years. In fact, I wonder if the fools on Wall Street realize how much more they would owe today in state taxes if over the years governors wouldn’t have been allowed to borrow from these pension funds. So why the Corporate Raiders of Wall Street are busy convincing the Media Pundits it is a god idea to allow the state pensions to be raided like so many of our parents and grandparents pensions were raided in the 80’s. I wonder what their answer will be the next tome the State has to raise their taxes because they no longer have the State Employee Pension Funds to borrow from.
Yes, it is true that many of our states face some financial hard times; however, I am surprised if not even shocked that the same Media Pundits who stood up against those who wanted to take away the Bankers and Wall Street bonuses and stock options just a few years ago would be all too willing to take away the American Workers’ money. Is this because they don’t care about the American Worker or somehow believe the benefits paid to these Americans are somehow less valuable? No, I think it is due to the fact they have for so long been use to dividing Americans that it just seems natural to try to turn those who work for private industry against those who work for our states.
Because why they have learned over the years that they cannot turn the debate into dividing the Poor from the Wealthy without getting into trouble and risk being fired, it seems ok if they listen to the Corporate Raiders of wall Street and turn the Working Class against the Working Class so the Wealthy in America don’t have to worry about returning the money they have borrowed from the state pension plans over the years.

Misinformation: The Enemy Within and Without
January 23, 2011 by ItheConsumer.
With Factcheck.org http://www.factcheck.org/ rising after John Stewart went on CNN and called the Media Pundits out I don’t think a Conservative or Liberal in America wants to try and defend the position that misinformation within and without of Americas’ Borders has become a problem. And why I will let Fact Check tell us who is more responsible for using this weapon of ignorance, but it seems to me the Republican Leadership in Washington continue to use it in order to gain political power just as Al Qaeda does to gain ground in the World.
Now I’m not saying the two are the same. In fact, one pursuing National Power and the other one pursuing World Dominance I would say they are both just two groups trying to misinform their audience in hope they can move their agenda forward. Nevertheless, unwilling to see the difference, but instead focusing on the idea that people who are easily fooled are being doped to act and vote against their own inherent best interest. I can find no reasonable logic of why the Leaders of Society’s’ Media would allow such things unless they benefited in their support of misleading the American Public.
Because why I recognize the Medias’ Need to answer to their Advertisers, but do this mean the Organizations and Corporations are also supporting the misinformation of the American Public or in their lust for money the Media is turning a blind eye to the problem instead of doing their job for Society? For aware that negativity sales and has been used in 20th Century Politics to win elections. I would caution the Leaders of Media that here is a fine line between supporting the Status Quo of Man and supporting those in Society who would wish nothing more than to overthrow and control our governments and media.
For all one has to do is look at the Media during the build up to the start of the Iraq War or 2004 Elections to see how easy it is for those in the Media to be doped into believing they are doing their job instead of misleading the American Public by supporting the Enemy within and without our borders. Given that the world would look a lot different if the Media would have stayed focused on addressing the Issues which started the War on Ideology and Terror instead of going along with the idea Iraq had Weapons of Mass Destruction without proof.
Yes, organizations like Fact Check has done a lot to level the playing field and help protect those easily fooled; however, given that once upon a time was the role of the Media in America I wonder if the shooting in Arizona could have not been avoided if the young man would have been told that it is not the government who is the problem, but those in inside and outside of government and society who wish to drive their agenda instead of promoting a Better World.
