Building a Positive Energy Resource
January 31, 2011 by ItheConsumer.
With the need to replace oil as the primary source of energy I realize that others have their own ideas on how to sell the average citizen the electricity and fuel they will need to power the cars and homes; however, recognizing our leaders are looking for sustainability I do believe Mother Nature has already given Mankind the answer they seek. For though Bio-Mass Material http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Biomass is still a young industry it does offer advantages that no other resource of energy can match. And in my opinion is an excellent companion to Solar and Wind especially since the trio can mimic what Nature has been doing for billions of years.
Given that producing biomass material either through algae farms or factories plus the gathering of falling foliage can provide the building material needed for the 21st Century and beyond as well as be composted so that warm moist air and nutrients for the soil ban be returned. Additionally, the residual biomass can be used in furnaces to create steam which can drive generators to burn lights brighter than the sun http://www.dailygalaxy.com/my_weblog/2007/09/a-light-10-bill.html when neither the sun is shining nor wind is blowing. Because why we may not be able to control the Sun or the Wind which has always presented a problem when it comes to the steady production of electricity, in building a Renewable Energy Plant we already have the technology to combine the trio on a single platform.
For example; today we think of burning organic material http://www.eia.doe.gov/kids/energy.cfm?page=biomass_home-basics Solar Energy http://www.eia.doe.gov/kids/energy.cfm?page=biomass_home-basics and Wind Energy http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wind_turbine as being separate systems; And while all three have their limitations, together they can create a hybrid system which can work in rain or shine. Since imagine what a system could do if it was made up of a wind tunnel housing several wind mills driven by a solar fan and attached to a light from a furnace which burned residual organic waste to generate steam to drive a generator. For though complex in its figuration and mammoth in its ability to deliver a steady source of electricity I do believe the scaling of such a system could be more than enough to help every Human achieve the goal of becoming economically viable and financially independent while supplying Commerce and Trade with the raw material they need and reducing the impact of our landfills.
Thus, what seems like an impossible task will take a little bit of educating the Old Folks; nevertheless, in teaching how to mimic Nature in order to provide us with the energy and products the Human Race will require for the next 100 years and beyond seems like a good start. However, given that Mankind for centuries has been trained to do things the hard way, don’t think they are going to want to change overnight. For why we are still finding the limitations of Biomass, Solar, and Wind, considering Mother Nature has been using the same combination for billions of years. I truly wonder if the Sky is the Limit?

Dealing with Americas’ Issues
January 28, 2011 by ItheConsumer.
One would think with all the Media Experts and Pundits on the Radio and TV at least one of them would be able to step forward and show Americas’ Democratic and Republican Civil, Political, and Religious Leaders that Americans do have a way to deal with the Issues of the 20th Century and prepare for the Events of the 21st Century. However, based on my experience and the fact most of My Community Elders and Peers of the 70’s have grown up disbelieving it would ever be possible to make every Human on Earth economically viable and financially independent. The idea Americas’ two Political Parties could ever agree on anything after what they saw in the 60’s and 70’s has at best left them with a distorted truth of why Our Elected Officials will probably never see eye to eye. However, that does not mean we cannot get them to agree on how to solve the Issues of the 20th Century and prepare for the Events of the 21st Century over the next several years.
And just like in the 70’s when grandma would not allow the Children of the 70’s to have cars that flew, today’s youth already knows that it is wrong to give a 16 year old the keys to an electric car which will pay them to drive up and down Main Street. So why My Brothers and Sisters of the 70’s as well as Americas’ Democratic and Republican Civil, Political, and Religious Leaders can rest easy knowing that whatever changes are needed to be made so The Corporation and Market can build a Better World will stay within the Principles and Standards set forth by our Forefathers and Ancestors. However, unlike generations before them watch as this generation embraces the concept they can work together with their Elected Officials to produce a Green Sustainable Government and Society.
For why others in the past may have rose up against the beast known as The New World Order in fear, having the innovations and technology of their parents to tame the monster, I do believe the Leaders of Commerce and Industry would do themselves well to listen as the Children of the 21st Century take what their parents have learned about corporations and nations becoming more efficient and start applying it to their life. Because why I won’t list today the goods and services which can quickly be created to reduce the economic impact required for a higher standard of living, behold the changes made by corporations in the last 30 years in order to become more profitable. Then ask yourself how those lessons can be put to use in order to make a household function leaner and smarter?
Because from renewable energy sources to recycling their trash, like those before them they most feed the Beast, but nowhere is it written the Human Race cannot prosper from their Labor of Love. So just as sure as we see Smart Cars and Homes entering the Market, what other innovations and invents can be made to make the Household more efficient?

Blinded by Ignorance
January 26, 2011 by ItheConsumer.
With the Speaker of the House calling for $2 trillion to be cut out of the federal budget over the next ten years why does the Tea Party try to one up the man by claiming they want to cut $2.5 trillion over the same time frame? Do they really think the difference is going to matter especially considering they will not have the final word on the subject? No, having already started this conversation with a friend over at Watchblog.com I realize that why America does need to get its financial house in order cutting the budget for the sake of cutting the budget is not the answer. For blinded by the Ignorance that not only will they have to get the Senate to agree, but persuade President Obama and the American Public, but whatever they decide to cut will stick through the next 4 new Congress and two Presidents. I’m still waiting to hear where they are going to find the first dollar to cut from this years’ budget.
For why I hear from the Media every day how entitlement programs will have to be cut; however, I haven’t heard one elected officials who is willing to state for the record which entitlement program will be the first to see the chopping block. Instead, I hear how if we only get te spending level back to the 2008 levels that everything will be ok. Yet, knowing that will do very little if anything to offset the nearly $14.3 trillion Americas’ Government is looking at this year let alone the expected growth over the next two years I doubt if even the $2.5 trillion in ten years is enough to silence the critics of our government.
However, knowing something has to be done by the Republican lead House of Representatives to deal with the problem caused earlier the century I do hope they are willing to look at increasing the taxes on at least the super wealthy in America. For remembering the day when the first President Bush said “Read My Lips, no new taxes” only to have to relent right before the elections I do believe it would be a shame for the Speaker of the House and the Tea Party to fix our government financial problem due to the fact they could not agree to raise the taxes of even a single American.
Because why Speaker Boehner and the Tea Party is going to have to show me that they can do more than wish they can solve the budget by cutting a few trillion dollars, I do believe they will find that while talk is cheap. They will have to give up their trash talking just as the Republicans learned in the 1990’s if they aspect to get the Democrats in the House and Senate to agree with which ever cuts to the budge will be necessary in order to return America back to a balance budget in the next ten years. For simply put, anything short of that goal is just Congress trying to get over on a generation that knows better.

They’re Back
January 24, 2011 by ItheConsumer.
Having grown up in the 80’s when the Corporate Raiders of Wall Street were busy taking away many of Americans pension funds, I hear talk from the Media on how they want to change the laws so state pension funds today can be raided. And why that should send every American running saying “Honey bar the doors” it seems that most of the commentators are estranged from the fact that many of the states borrowed these funds in good faith in order to keep their taxes from having to be increased over the years. In fact, I wonder if the fools on Wall Street realize how much more they would owe today in state taxes if over the years governors wouldn’t have been allowed to borrow from these pension funds. So why the Corporate Raiders of Wall Street are busy convincing the Media Pundits it is a god idea to allow the state pensions to be raided like so many of our parents and grandparents pensions were raided in the 80’s. I wonder what their answer will be the next tome the State has to raise their taxes because they no longer have the State Employee Pension Funds to borrow from.
Yes, it is true that many of our states face some financial hard times; however, I am surprised if not even shocked that the same Media Pundits who stood up against those who wanted to take away the Bankers and Wall Street bonuses and stock options just a few years ago would be all too willing to take away the American Workers’ money. Is this because they don’t care about the American Worker or somehow believe the benefits paid to these Americans are somehow less valuable? No, I think it is due to the fact they have for so long been use to dividing Americans that it just seems natural to try to turn those who work for private industry against those who work for our states.
Because why they have learned over the years that they cannot turn the debate into dividing the Poor from the Wealthy without getting into trouble and risk being fired, it seems ok if they listen to the Corporate Raiders of wall Street and turn the Working Class against the Working Class so the Wealthy in America don’t have to worry about returning the money they have borrowed from the state pension plans over the years.

What Type of Jobs?
January 21, 2011 by ItheConsumer.
Jobs, Jobs, Jobs, but what type of jobs does America need? Because why it is easy for the Democratic and Republican Leadership and the pundits to say that is what our economy and government needs right now from the private sector, have you noticed everyone but President Obama turns away when asked the simple question of what jobs? For why we hear the Media Pundits speak about the high rate of unemployment and the supposedly uneducated American Worker. Talking about the need to retrain Americas’ Workforce, it sure would be nice to know what jobs Wall Street expect to create over the next two years. Especially since neither side of the political spectrum seems to forget how easy it is for Americans to adapt to the demands put on them by the Mighty Industrial Power of the Land.
For imagine at the beginning of WWII if our grandparents had to be retrained before they could begin production on the jeeps, tanks, and ships needed to win the war. And what about the 1980’s when Corporate Raiders from Wall Street took over many businesses and factories; could they have survived if it took 5-10 years to retrain the workforce of those times? No, with the Republican Leadership in Washington more excited about repealing health care reform, the Senate, and President Obama than working with the current Administration to put policies in place so American Businesses can create the jobs of the 21st Century are we to believe they get the message that it is all about Jobs, Jobs, Jobs.
And now with the talk to cut the rest of the stimulus money as a way to show they are willing to deal with the debt. I wonder if the jobs they are talking about had less to do with manufacturing and more about figuring out how to create the lowest paying jobs in the world. Because why I know President Obama and Americas’ Energy Companies cannot create the Renewable Energy Jobs on their own, aware that all spending must start in the House of Representatives. Does Speaker Boehner even have a plan on how America can work on becoming Energy Independent and stop paying the ever increasing prices of gasoline?
So why we hear the words Jobs, Jobs, Jobs come out of the mouths of those who need and want our vote in 2012, I do believe until they are willing to seat down with President Obama and the Chamber of Commerce to discuss with the American Public what their ideas are over the next two years to lower the unemployment and increase the revenue to our government. We are looking at the same old smoking mirrors of the Do-Nothing and No-Nothing Congress of the last ten years. Having been given little faith in the Media to realize it is their JOB to ask our elected officials what type of jobs America is going to need over the next 100 years in order to win the Race to the Top I can just hope I am wrong.

China Best Business Partner or Sworn Enemy
January 21, 2011 by ItheConsumer.
With over a billion customers in china going into the 21st Century America needs to decide if they are to become one of our best business partners or go back to being sworn enemies. For why I listened to President of America and China talk about what they could work on together over the next few years to build a strong relationship and trade agreement, I wondered if the commentators and reporters were more into finding reasons to draw a deep divide or working on telling people how the two nations can help each other remain leaders in the world. Yes, growing up in a time when each side was taught that the other nation was evil and could not be trusted may have something to do with the overtone; however, why our leaders recognize there are serious problems that both nations need to work on in the 21st Century. I do believe if America and China work together as partners we can avoid the same mistakes as past super powers have made. Because why I don’t think no one wants to see the two nations clash, thinking of what the two nations can accomplish with other nations such as England in the 21st Century I do believe My Grandparents argument that the Sky is the Limit will see the dawn of a brand new day.
So while Americas’ Democratic and Republican Civil, Political, and Religious Leaders are busy learning why being politically correct matters. I do believe today’s commentators and reporters need a crash course in why the price of eggs in China matters. And for those who still haven’t figured it out, let me ask you a question. If a Man in America or China can’t afford to buy the eggs his family needs for breakfast than what should the Leaders and Citizenry of both nations do?
Kill him because he has failed to live up to the duties of being a Man?
Imprison him so that he can learn from his mistakes?
Exile him so the nation no longer has a black eye?
Demand he goes to work for a Corporation in order to be able to buy the eggs?
Make him work for the State?
Provide him with a Chicken so that he and his family can always have eggs?
Yes, Americas’ and the Leaders of China do have an enormous task in getting Commerce and Trade to provide jobs for every citizen in the 21st century. Yet, beyond just a job they must also work to ensure the price of eggs in both nations stay affordable enough so no man and his family has to wake up unable to feed his family. Because why we do share common ground as described by our leaders in the news conference this week, none is as important to the peace and prosperity as the two nations and their citizens learning the lesson of the price of eggs IMHO.

Social Security: The Baby Boomers Achilles Heel
January 20, 2011 by ItheConsumer.
Having been told for years that when the Baby Boomers retire the number of workers in America will not be able to keep up the payments of Social Security to keep the Trust Fund solvent, I realize the Pundits would have us believing that the program will be flat broke before one of our first kids are ready to retire. However, you never hear them talk about the number of workers who will have to be replaced through immigration so Americas’ Economy can stay strong. Instead all we hear is how they want to dismantle the program which provides more than just a retirement check after 40-45 years of labor.
Now that does not mean we don’t have nothing to worry about as Baby Boomers. For in allowing past Congresses to borrow money from the account we should know that there is a lot of IOU slips because public outcry has not forced the repayment by Baby Boomers. And even in 2000 when VP Gore proposed to put the Trust Fund in a Lock Box, the conservatives at the time mocked his effort to save the Baby Boomers from themselves. So even today we still have Congress borrowing money basically without the fear.
Still I recognize that Social Security is the Baby Boomers Achilles heel. For why we all want to retire someday as well as see to that our children and grandchildren have the safety net we enjoyed growing up. Not even one idea in the last 20 years has been proposed which can ensure the general public that a new Social Security Act could do better. However, this is where I see how the Baby Boomers can help themselves and their Children as well. For long known to be the weakest link in a suit of armor, with a little bit of political imagination and some serious rethinking of how our parents decided to abuse or use the program I believe Americans can have our retirement cake and eat it too.
For example; America needs our infrastructure renovated and why we could ho aboard to borrow the money. It seems to me that our Local and State governments could borrow from the Social Security Trust Fund at a rate not to exceed 7% for projects usually funded by other means. Because why I realize the extra cost (Grant vs. Loan) will add to the cost of roadways, bridges, and such. Nonetheless, I do believe it is better than allowing every Congress to borrow from the funds hoping the future Congress will pay the IOU. And the same can be said about our immigration problem we have today. For with every employee retiring I am sure the employer is going to need to replace at least most of them. So as we work to secure our borders and address the other issues of immigration we should consider finding citizens who want to come to America and work.
So you see why Social Security is the Baby Boomers Achilles Heel, it does not mean we have to allow it to be the down fall of our generation.

Sarah Palin Women Up!
January 19, 2011 by ItheConsumer.
Although Sarah Palin will have to learn how to live with the fact she is the first VP Candidate in Americas’ History to be put on the National Ticket already under investigation for ethic violations. After listening to her response the other night and seeing how her Liberal Media Main Stream friends have been cuddling her remarks about Tucson and calling for targets to be put on Representatives, I don’t want her to seat down and shut up, but Woman Up and take responsibility for her actions and words since she arrived on the National Scene in 2008. For if she is a victim than she is a victim of the blow back of the bombs she has been throwing especially since all one has to do is to point to the time Senator McCain had to clam the crowd at his Presidential Rally because Sarah got totally out of control.
Yes, Sarah Palin may never be fit to run or hold the Office of the President of the United States of America and I doubt if she would ever be asked to be the President of the RNC; however, she must realize that why she will never be the next Rush or Hannity, her opportunity for being a spokesperson for the RNC Women on the Radio and TV depends on how she deals with being able to bring extreme right back to Americas’ Conservative Movement.
For whether she is aware of it or not, before she came on the scene in 2008 we did not see people attending political rallies carrying loaded weapons nor have people calling for violence against our elected officials. And for those of us old enough to have lived through the Civil Rights Movements of the 60’s and 70’s that is saying something. Because why she maybe young enough not to remember the days of “Burn Baby Burn” or the riots in the streets. I am sure she was taught about the assassinations of our Elected and Public Figures of those times which was brought on by the same uncivil discord that we are hearing on the Radio and TV today.
So why she can claim she is doing nothing more than those who in the past did to misinform, mislead, and misuse their Guaranteed Civil and Constitutional Rights as they did nothing to stop the violence which almost lead to the overthrow of Americas’ Government. Knowing what happened to those people and to the Nation. Because why I do not think she will be able to overcome her place in Americas’ History, but dealt a bad hand by the Republican Good Ole Boys who saw her as a means to an end. I do believe if she does not want to become just another side note in history than she needs to Woman Up and learn to lead the Conservative Women in hope that one of them can become the First Lady President of the United States of America.

Readdressing Americas’ Health Care Reform
January 18, 2011 by ItheConsumer.
As the House of Representatives bring to the floor the bill to kill the health care reform act passed by the 111th Congress and signed into law by President Obama this week I do believe Speaker Boehner needs to remind the Members and their spokesperson from both parties that Freedom of Speech is guaranteed to the Ladies and Gentlemen who wish to peacefully assemble to discuss their issues, but not the men and women who want to cause harm and malice to our citizens and country. For after listening to some Radio and Media Pundits this past week try to defend the actions and words which we witnessed at the past town hall meetings on the subject and may have lead to the 6 died in Arizona. I do believe the Conservatives and Tea Party risk losing their agenda for the next two years if they cannot control the civil discord over the next few weeks.
Because already fighting an enemy aboard which believes Americas’ Government is wrong, I do believe the Elders today will have no other recourse but to shut down the public debate in America so the enemy within can no longer claim it is Americas’ Government who is at fault for not being able to solve the problems the Human Race has been unable to deal with over the past 30 years. And though it may seem harsh to some to think Americas’ Elders and Powers-that-Be could and would do such a thing. As one who remembers in the 1970’s when Americas’ Elders and Powers-that-Be being forced to act in the same manner after civil discord by the Radio and Media Pundits got so bad I do believe Americas’ Democratic and Republican Civil, Political, and Religious Leaders today will not make the same mistakes.
So why I can understand the need to readdress Americas’ Health Care Reform Act, knowing that part one is nothing more than political theater and a way to debate what changes can and should be done to lower the cost of health insurance and medical expenses in the 21st Century. Let us not get caught up in the name calling or fall for the misinformation tactics used by some in the business to turn us against each other or our elected officials. For why we must reform our present healthcare system to meet the demands of the 21st Century, like our ancestors at the turn of the last century who took a health care system out of the woods and built it into the one we enjoy today. Hopefully, we can get Congress and the Private Sector to agree on letting us take the healthcare system we grew up on into one which could only be imagined by our Founding Fathers some 230 years ago when they first opened the doors to Americas’ Library of Medicine so every Citizen could learn how to be their best General Practitioner of Health and Medicine.

The New Era of Media
January 18, 2011 by ItheConsumer.
Although I very seldom grow angry enough to challenge Americas’ Media, after listening this past week to the pros and cons of Americas’ Democratic and Republican Civil, Political, and Religious Leaders returning to a more civil debate I am persuaded to call out Americas’ Advertisers and Media Owners to defend why they willfully allow and support their Actors and Commentators constantly degrade our elected officials and mislead the American Public?
For why we are fighting a global enemy which degrades and misleads others into believing Americas’ Establishment is evil, listening to Fox Saturday Money Gurus call for our States to file for bankruptcy and others still defend the name calling as well as the threat of violence I believe the case can be made that the line between civil discord and outright treason can no longer be denied.
Because why it baffles me how and why the same Media Pundits who lead us into these times are still on the air, it is even more outrageous that they want to blame Americas’ Elected Officials for them not doing the job of the Media. For example; while Americans knew as far back as 2003 that the housing industry was in trouble of bursting CNN, CNBC, and Fox Money Gurus kept promoting the Market as if nothing would happen. Even after it was made cleared Americas’ Economy couldn’t absorb the Fed needing to increase the Prime Lending Rate in 2005 and the Market Crash of 2008 they continued to blame the government as well as Americas’ Corporations for the problems. However, the fact they still call for Americans to invest in foreign nations while trash talking the those who wish to deal with the high cost of energy and reinvesting in Americas’ Infrastructure instead of coming to the aid of Americas’ Economy and Wall Street has made others and me question the loyalty of the owners and advertisers toward Main Street America and Our Elected Officials.
So as America wakes up to a new political era Americas’ Democratic and Republican Civil, Political, and Religious Leaders recognize they must tone down the civil discord, I challenge Americas’ Advertisers as well as Americas’ Media Owners and Stockholders to do the same. For just as Our Elders of the 70’s had to step in after it was clear that the civil discord of the Civil Rights Movement lead only to the Media Pundits of the time being found uncivilized. And knowing moreover that My Brothers and Sisters of the 70’s as well as their Children are not ready for this Unlearned Unbridled Anti-Authoritarian Child of the 70’s by Freewill and Self-Nature to openly debate these Media Pundits “Just Because.” For having grown up in a time when the future was dictated to us, I really have to question the Right of anyone who is Ignorant enough to believe Humans really want to go down to go down that road again. So will we see a new era of Media?
