Awakening a Political Beast: An America and World worth Fighting For
September 25, 2011 by ItheConsumer.
As Washington, Wall Street, and Main Street struggle with the issues facing the Nation I can see how many might look at Congress and wonder why they cannot seem to come ta compromise on what needs to be done in order to solve the problems. However, presented with the fact that Today’s Politicians are limited to protecting Mans’ Unalienable Right to be Ignorant I wish My Brothers and Sisters of the 70’s good luck bridging the gap between the Youth of Yesteryear, the Youth of Today so the Youth of Tomorrow can enjoy the same guaranteed civil and constitutional rights bestowed upon us by our forefathers and ancestors. For though I see it as the Republicans and Tea Party wanting out of fear or greed to protect the Commerce and Industry of the 20th Century, I see President Obama and the Democratic Party unable to gather the support of Commerce and Industry in the 21st Century to be able to prove America can build a Green Sustainable Government and Society. And why they take those political positions for a reason, having made a promise the last time America and the World faced such a dilemma. I do hope the following fable will help My Community Elders and Peers realize the Youth of Today are in a much better position to build a Better World than their parents and grandparents were forty years ago. Especially since I know there is an America and World worth fighting for.
For fully aware there are still those in society who do not understand how an American Layman Citizen can stand up to “The Corporation” and Wealthy experts and lawyers in order to speak directly to Americas’ Democratic and Republican Civil, Political, and Religious Leaders. I do hope they will seek out those in government and society who can explain it since the Laws of Man and the Laws of Nature forbids me from crossing that line. Because although I have grown up disagreeing with your Parents’ Ideology of a Better World and am still spending a lifetime coming to terms with why Americas’ Democratic and Republican Civil, Political, and Religious Leaders have a hell-bent ideology of protecting Mans’ Unalienable Right to be Ignorant. I am encouraged to see their children have come to recognize that at some point even foolishness and stupidity is just plain wrong. Thus, why I cannot promise it will be their generation who will succeed in building a world where every Human is economically viable and financially independent considering the Youth of Today are smart enough not to allow me to bring to market a Zero Weight 100% Traction Electric Vehicle powered by man-made wind which has the capability to pay a 16 year old to drive up and down Main Street. I can demonstrate to My Elders and Peers that it is possible for “We the People” to do so using the tools given to us in Our Founding Documents.
Now, realize that the Members of Congress and the Leaders of Society operate on the ideology of Limited Energy and Limited Resources since no one has proven they have mastered perpetual motion. And while I am certain that it exists in Nature, I’ll let the Children of the 21st Century explain to their Elders why Mans’’ Quest should be for “Endless Energy and Endless Resources instead of Unlimited Power and Resources. Because while Common Sense prevents me from exploiting those who look into the Unknown for answers, aware Nature has been making endless energy and resources for eons I do wonder just how far My Peers will allow the Children of the 21st Century to go in building a better world. Because though I respect the things accomplished by oil over the last 100 years, I also recognize that other natural resources are being exploited by some as the energy of the next 100 years. However, given the fact the Members of Congress and Leaders of Societies need to look beyond the next fade I wonder if Today’s Civil, Political, and Religious Leaders can handle the ideology that the sun and wind will never end. As well as My Community Elders and Peers coming to terms with the ideology that energy and resources derived from the sun and wind are free to the masses and never be the sole property of one entity. For why I realize like flying cars the world might not be ready for everyone to own a Personal Renewable Power Plants constructed out of four wind mills and a wind tunnel in their backyard. The ideology does lend itself to solving the problems caused by Commerce and Industry.
For example; we hear the Democrats and Republicans cry that government spending is out of control even though the low tax rate has led to a budget deficit and the national debt growing rapidly over the last few years. However, the one thing we are not hearing is how to increase in Home Security expenses has added to the problem. In fact, certain that exposing the money we are spending on such items would do no good I wonder why the Tea Party would rather eliminate entitlement programs for the poor rather than require those needing the added security to pay for it. Because why I certainly have nothing against the airlines or those citizens who fly every day, I cannot support the idea of keeping the price of tickets low while telling those airline employees they will have to pay more for their standard of living while management continues getting big bonuses which need to be protected by Homeland Security. So why hasn’t the Media addressed this side of the story?
Than we have the economy quagmire. A problem brought about by the need to slow down consumption in order to regain control of the short and long term fundamentals of finance. And though Prudence will not allow me to go into exactly how I know these actions were taken. All one has to do is look back at the events before and after Katrina to see how America and Global Corporations were affected by the sudden change in banking and the higher cost of oil. However, knowing the problem goes back before 9/11 the question Congress and the Leaders of Society has to answer is very different. For aware that the latest PC, TV, or phone is no longer enough to drive consumers wildly to the stores and that higher prices for food and fuel are only adding to corporations being unable to peddle their goods and services. It is not only the need for jobs, but the jobs which will create enough income so the employee does not remain a burden on society that needs to be addressed by Congress. And here is where I have a problem with both political parties. Because while I’ll admit that Americas’ Infrastructure is in need of repair and replacement, I can’t see how the current highway contracting system insures employees will become taxpayers so they may share the burden. A position I might add that the Tea Party has overlooked in their opposition to President Obamas’ Jobs Bill. For how does one go about creating high paying jobs which make profit in a Global Economy where cheap labor and low overhead is King?
Nonetheless, one of the hardest difficulties facing this Congress and your parents is what resource will replace the oil they have grown up on. For why there is a strong move by some conservatives to keep America dependent on oil for the next forty years regardless of the cost to their children. I have not heard a convincing argument given by others on how their choice of resources can provide a long term inexpensive cost of energy. And while that lends itself to keeping the economy from growing and encouraging more debt as the wealth of America is redistributed around the world. The inaction of Congress to confront the Corporate Leaders of Energy leaves open a door which can be used by the average American today.
For like the Farmers of Yesterday who brought their crops to the city in order to sell them to the corporation so they could make a profit in order to pay taxes. Under current law and future farmers can harvest the energy of the sun and wind in order to sell their electricity to the corporation so they can make profit in order to pay taxes. Because although Americas’ Energy Companies might not be able to afford adding and replacing their current generator systems with solar and wind generator system and sell their electricity at a reasonably priced, with the rest of Americas’ Businesses needing a way to stay competitive in the global market while insuring the American Consumer keeps their high standard of living. Short of overcoming the natural political objections to individuals owning their own Renewable Power Plants in their backyard, I’ll allow your Community Elders explain how certain laws can allow the community to set aside land for such activity.
Because although I can’t promise the Children of Today that the Elders of the 21st Century along with their older siblings and parents will allow them to build a government and society capable of making every Human on Earth economically viable and financially independent since the Elders of the 70’s along with the older siblings and parents of the Children of the 70’s limited their government and society to the sky. However, knowing that as of now no Corporation or Wealth can provide a guarantee that every Human need and desire can be met. I do hope that a 16 year old today can understand why it would not have been a good idea to give their parents the ability to get paid to drive up and down Main Street. For why the political goal is to build a Better World than those in the past, just as your parents and grandparents had to settle for a voluntary recycling program in the 1970’s in order to enjoy the system we have today. So we will see how Man will react to the need for more energy and money.
Given that now there should be no doubt about the ability of Humans to have a government and society which can provide every citizen with the opportunity to become economically viable and financially independent. And while Fear and Greed might prevent such radical ideology from swiping across the land, reminded that it took about a hundred years and a Civil War to end Slavery in America. I do hope the Youth of Tomorrow can convince their Elders and Peers that there is an America and World worth fighting for.

Looking for a Bold Vision
September 7, 2011 by ItheConsumer.
As a Child of the 70’s I recognize the President of the United States of America is the only citizen permitted to bring to the public pulpit a Bold Vision of Americas’ Great Experiment. As such I do wish the 2012 presidential candidates good luck in bringing my peers and their children a politically acceptable plan for the next forty years. For knowing America could quickly solve her debt and economic woes simply by tripling the income of Labor and Management. Looking forward to reading the Bold Visions of Americas’ 2012 Democratic and Republican Presidential Candidates, let me share with you the lessons and limits this Unlearned Unbridled Anti-Authoritarian Child of the 70’s by Freewill and Self-Nature.
For whether you believe in “Endless Resources” and Trickle-Up Economics or “Limited Resources” and Trickledown Economics the simply argument of “Pure Greed” and a few lessons from our ancestors should shine some light on why Political Correctness matters. Because given the choice to make $100.00 profit off of 10,000 customers or generate a penny profit from 6.4 billion customers, which one must the Market choose in order to keep its’ word that Greed Matters? And though that argument goes deeper; given that the growth of the global and national market is ever expanding who is to say “The Corporation” cannot serve the entire population of the Human Race in the 21st Century.
And why there are those who will complain about the redistribution of wealth or 50% of the population doesn’t pay federal taxes, surely they know of the impact Henry Ford made on the Labor Movement of his time or his contributions to the industrial revolution of the 20th Century when he by Freewill paid his employees enough to afford the products they were building. Besides all one has to do is to look at how increasing the minimum wage from$1.87/hour in the 1970’s to over $6.50/hours in the 1990’s lead to the largest economic boom in history. So with the past ten years seeing a decline in the Middle and Lower Class wages, which 2012 presidential candidate stand for America waiting another 20 years to see an economic boom or propose to work with Americas’ Commerce and Industry in figuring out how to increase the income of Labor and Management while still remaining competitive in the global market.
Now I’ll be the first to admit my peers and their children are probably not ready to build a government and society where every Human has the opportunity/responsibility to produce and sell their fair share of the energy used by Commerce and Industry or own a Zero Weight 100% traction electric vehicle powered by man-made wind capable of paying a 16 year old to drive up and down Main Street. Nevertheless, seeing how good the corporations of the 20th Century was at cutting business expenses I do believe a presidential candidate would be wise to consider challenging the corporations of the 21st Century to see how they could help the Consumer reduce their household expenses.
In fact, if I may be so blazon as to add to the challenge of the 21st Century Corporation may I suggest developing products that goes as far as generating income for the household? For given that I realize there is a difference between a dream of a child and the duty and responsibilities of a parent. I hope Americas’ Democratic and Republican 2012 Presidential Candidates can raise above the spin of the media pundits and bring my peers and their children a politically viable Bold Vision of the Great Experiment. As I recognize the difficulty the President and Congress will once again face as they look to our Ancestors of the turn of the last century for inspiration. Nevertheless, I do believe and hope that in looking to solve the Issues of Mankind tomorrows’ politicians will understand they take an oath to serve the American Public and not the Charlatans and Vagabonds in Washington and aboard. So where are the Bold Visions of the 2012 Presidential Candidates which will allow my peers and their children to build a better world than the Youth of the 60’s and Silver Spoons of the 70’s?

Debt vs. Jobs vs. Energy
August 24, 2011 by ItheConsumer.
With Conservatives and Liberals being lead to debate whether solving the debt problem or solving the unemployment problem should take first priority in Congress, I do believe the Powers-that-Be are forgetting about the 800 lb. Gorilla in the room. For why it is certain that My Elders and Peers should not bequest to the next generation a $14 trillion dollar debt. It is equally true that My Elders and Peers cannot limit their children to the same employment structure they grew up with. However, the most important issue they most deal with is the energy source for the 21st Century needed to achieve a Self-Sustainable World. Because no matter how much we cut government spending or create jobs, the simple fact that the 21st Century will see limited resources of fossil fuel provides the Common Ground needed to bridge both the generational gap and the natural gap of Labor and Management in my humble opinion.
For though it would be wrong to ask Business Owners, Stockholders, and Management to give up their wages, it is equally a reality that lowering the wages of Labor will only lead to less profits for The Corporation and the Community they serve. And though I realize that it is hard for some people to understand why a corporation is considered a person, I do believe the fact that no matter how hard they try they can never be considered to be Human. Thus, sharing the common ground of being a citizen I do believe the ideology of each generation being able and capable of building a Better World through government and society should help My Brothers and Sisters of the 70’s and their children lay the foundation required to keep the ideology of making every human on earth economically viable and financially independent a shining light of hope and inspiration.
So as we wait for the Bold Plans of President Obama and the other Presidential Candidates of the 2012 Elections, I hope my conservative and liberal pundits can look beyond the civil discourse of today in order to embrace what can be done to solve the Issues of the 20th Century and help America an Humanity prepare for the Human and Natural Events of the 21st Century. For although it is true that an event can destroy the entire world in a split second, taking from the heritage of our forefathers and ancestors to look beyond death and gloom and knowing My Elders and Peers as well as their Children won’t accept my version of a better world. Let me inspire President Obama and the other Presidential candidates of 2012 by pointing out some things that can be done to deal with the issues of Debt, Jobs, and Energy.
First, knowing that our government agencies replace their vehicles on a regular basis I do believe simply by the President sighing an executive order can make the procurement office purchase electric vehicles from American Automotive Manufactures. For not only would this save millions on fuel expenses in the federal, state, and local budgets, but the savings could be used to pay down the national debt. Additionally, it would provide good paying jobs and increase the revenue for our government; however, by purchasing the equipment to charge the electric vehicles from American Manufactures more jobs, revenue, and savings can be made. For through I personally like the idea of a zero weight 100% traction electric vehicle powered by man-made wind, I do believe purchasing cars like the Chevy Volt would send a strong signal to the market that America is serious about putting over a million electric cars and trucks on the road in the next ten years.
Second, in the sprite of reducing expenses I do believe the President should sign an executive order mandating that all federal building temperatures be set at 78 degrees in the fall, summer, and spring as well as in the winter months setting the thermometers at 68 degrees. And while some may complain I do believe the savings over the course of ten years would be substantial. In fact, I would go so far as requesting from Congress that new building codes ne put in place requiring the cooling/heating lost be kept to a minimum for all new or remodeled federal buildings.
Third, knowing all public buildings generate tons of trash each year I do believe the President should ask Congress to pass into law that all who receive federal funding be required to introduce a 100% recycle policy which would include using the organic waste to produce electricity on site or through a federal certified waste treatment facility. For why I do believe such a move could be done by issuing an executive order, seeing the impact it would have in the daily operations I do believe the Members of Congress should be held accountable; given the fact, some Presidential Candidates and members already in Congress has introduced a bill which would allow light bulbs be produced which use more electricity.
Fourth, knowing the President is going to need a big ticket item in savings I do believe introducing to Congress a bill which would limit travel pay for the Members of Congress and federal employees to the lowest coach price the day of travel because I do believe the American Voter can hold their elected officials accountable for the vote they will make on such a bill. For though I do not think such a clean bill on the subject would pass the House and Senate, I do believe the political blowback it would create will make for interesting conversation amongst the Media Pundits.
Fifth, while far off the radar, but a huge expenditure over the years I do believe the President should request that all Black Projects be reviewed so that Congress can make changes needed to save money and be sure the projects reflect the threats of the 21st Century. For though America should not give up her stance when it comes to being the World Super Power, even I have to question if America needs better airplanes, tanks, and other 20th century weaponry. And why I am sure many Members of Congress will fight hard for such items being produced in their state and district, I do believe a blue ribbon commission made up of the top generals of West Point and their civilian counterparts can help save America billions of dollars over the next several years.
Sixth, aware of the fact many contracts come in over budget I would hope the President would consider heavier penalties to include non-payment given proper review. For why we all know there is waste in any program, the idea that a corporation can put in a low bid, but over the years increase the price to well over even the highest bid at the time should be dealt with harshly.
Seventh, knowing Americas’ infrastructure has been neglected over the last forty years and knowing that one of the reasons is the fact most over the age of 50 never believe the Human Race would make it to the 21st Century I do believe the President should inspire Americas’ Institutions to develop new technology to replace our outdated sewer, water, gas, roads, and other infrastructure that will not only cost less, but take advantage of the bio-knowledge we have acquired over the last forty years. Because why we have not figured out how to build a community that adds positively to their environment, seeing that such technology will go a long way in Mans’ Quest to travel among the stars. I do believe the added value would be inspirational in getting more Americans willing to invest in such projects.
Eighth, realizing the “No-Nothing Party” wants nothing to do with increase revenue I do believe the President should offer them a package they cannot refuse. For recognizing the states are having trouble balancing their budgets I do believe reducing the amount of money sent to Washington by 5-10% will create the necessary incentive to bring all parties to the table. For though I know many want to see the federal Government operate within a balanced budget, unless the current Members of Congress can prove they can pass a 2012 balanced budget than the point is not worth political crap. For with most Americans turning away from the ideology of “Do what I say instead of what I do” the case can be made that those Members unwilling to move from that position and instead take up the cause of proving our federal government can operate within a balanced budget not mandated by law. I do believe the argument of Political Freewill trumps their position.
Ninth, with Americas’ Healthcare Industry demanding more while delivering less I do believe the President should look for alternative methods for Americans to receive answers to their health and medical questions. In fact, knowing that today’s technology can offer the average patient the ability to a better informed, I do look forward to the day when the Patient and their Family Doctor can enjoy a better relationship. Thus, I believe a National Health and Medical Think Tank commissioned by the President offer Congress a better solution than cutting billions out of Medicare and Medicaid. In fact, knowing the VA hospitals are already engaging in such revolutionary technology I do believe especially remote communities can prosper greatly over the years.
Tenth, recognizing Americans need to save more money than they have since the beginning of the century and aware that Social Security will always be under attack I do believe the President should use the idea of creating an Infrastructure bank as an additional method for Americans to save for their retirement. Because with the idea of changing our Social Security system to better reflect the changes of life and our 401k savings subject to the whims of the Stock Market, I do believe offering the Average American a safe 7% interest investment by building Commerce and Industry a better system can be done.
Now, I don’t expect President Obama or the other presidential candidates of 2012 to copy my ideas completely; nevertheless, I do believe the above ideas should help them develop their own top ten changes needed to help America deal with the Debt, Jobs, and Energy issues of our time. For why I can only imagine how far My Brothers and Sisters of the 70’s will allow their children to go in order to build a better world, aware of certain things that will remain silent I do look forward to seeing just how bold Americas’ Democratic and Republican Civil, Political, and Religious Leaders can be given the end of the world as we know it.

No New Taxes? Yea Right!
April 14, 2011 by ItheConsumer.
Someone in the Media should remind the Republicans and Tea Party what happen to the last person who said “Read My Lips, No New Taxes.” For if we go by their definition of taxes than even Senator Ryan. Proposal will increase the taxes paid by many Americans. For how can you cut a deduction and say you are not raising the taxes of an individual? So does this mean that the Republicans and Tea Party members of the House and Senate who pledged no new taxes will not vote for the Ryan Plan?
Yes, another broken promise and it didn’t take the Conservatives two minutes. I wonder if that is a new record in politics. And why I don’t expect President Obama to exploit the fact, I do believe the Democratic Members of the House of Representatives should make it a point to show the Republicans just how dishonest they are being with the American Public on the issue of no new taxes. For I do believe it would help in the debate of fixing the budget and deficit since it will leave the Conservatives little room to deny that revenue has to be increased and not just on the back of the Middle Class and Poor.
For if they are serious about reducing the deficit and lowering the taxes of Corporations than they are going to have to raise the revenue from somewhere. Considering that most of the increase over the last 10 years is not from entitlements, but from the need to greatly expand homeland security and pay contractors like Halliburton. Since if one looks at the budget before 9/11 and the budgets that follow they will see where the greatest increase in government spending has gone while the revenue for America has steadily decreased over the same time frame. So should we have a debate on entitlements or the increase of funding required in fighting the War on Terror?
So why we hear the numbers of $4 and $6 trillion dollars over more than 10 years, given that we are over $14 trillion dollars in debt shouldn’t we hear our Democratic and Republican Leaders talk about how they can cut/raise $2 trillion a year for the next 7 years in order to get Americas’ Financial House in order. For what good is paying off only a third of the debt when we are going to need the money to win the Race to the Top? Thus, why the Media plays up the hype of the two parties position over increasing the debt limit in the next month or two, I do believe most Americans would agree that it is going to take more than cutting spending or increasing the taxes of the Wealthy Americans in order for “We the People” to once again feel like we are going to hand Our Children a Better World than the one handed to us 40 years ago. Consequently, will it take an Independent Candidate in 2012 to give Americans a plan which will once again allow Americans to enjoy Financial Freedom?

Wake Up Washington
April 7, 2011 by ItheConsumer.
Unable to reach a 2011 budget agreement and knowing there is going to be a fight over the 2012 budget, I do believe an American could quickly reach national recognition by proposing a bill that would stop all political fund raising until Congress can pass into law a budget plan which will eliminate the national debt in 10 years. In fact, I do believe the American Voter would be better served if during the yearly budget debates all political funding was put on hold and the pay of Congress was temporally suspended to avoid future government shutdowns.
Sure I know the Democrats and Republicans would never agree to such a radical political point of view; nevertheless, I do believe it does show how childish the two party leaders have gotten especially when they are willing to shut down the government over less than 1% of the Federal Budget. However, I do see how a third party presidential candidate could get the attention of the American Public with such a political stance. And why the Far Left and Far Right might not like the idea and raise concerns over such actions. Realizing that influence from Special Interest Groups and Corporations would not help or hurt certain members of the House and/or Senate I do believe a fairer budget could be reached in a very short time.
So with more American Voters getting poorer than getting wealthy over the next 20 years if things are not changed I do believe it is time to wake up Washington. For why I realize that the Democratic and Republican Civil, Political, Religious Citizens and Leaders have grown up believing every American is a Corporation. Self-Aware that every Corporation is by Self-Nature a Consumer I do believe a serious third party presidential candidate in 2012 can get the national recognition needed by pointing out to the American Voter that dealing with a budget that is good for All Consumers is also good for All Corporations

Fixing the 2011 Budget
March 30, 2011 by ItheConsumer.
With the Democrats and Republicans battling over the 2011 budget I wonder if ant Member of Congress can justify any spending except the paying of our troops. For other than that priority is not the rest of the money spent optional? Yes, the pundits on the Left and Right can cry all they want about this program or that program; however, other than paying our troops and servicing the national debt do we really need to be spending a dime. Considering our warehouses should be able to cover the government needs over the next six months. I do believe it would be a great time for America to test our readiness in a State of Emergency.
Yes, suspending Congressional Pay might not to many on the Hill happy; nevertheless, it would show the rest of the world just how serious America is about getting our financial house in order. And why I suspect many of the new Representatives and Senators would vote against such proposal, citing hardship and the inability of them being able to do their job. I do believe the Members of Congress who have gone before them and the many who will come after them can tell about the many hardships they had to overcome while serving our country.
In fact, as a way to weed out the Want-to-Bes’ I do believe except for a select few that the problem of having to wait for a year or two in order to receive their pay would make it clear on who wants to be in Washington to help their fellow citizens and those who are strictly in the game for the money and benefits. For if the Members of Congress want to cut programs in order to save money than why shouldn’t we start with the benefits and pay of those who are among the highest paid Public Employee.
For if it is ok to ask a Public Employee making $50,000.00/yr. to pay for part of their healthcare and retirement package than doesn’t it make Common Sense to ask those Public Workers making over $100,000.00/yr. to pay for their healthcare and retirement package out their own pocket. Yet, how many new Members of Congress would vote for such a program or accept the fact they being the highest paid Public Employees should be held to higher standards than the average Public Worker. Even though I do believe if the Members of Congress would take such a stance it would leave very little room for the General Assemblies of Governors of States not to follow suit.
So as the Democrats and Republicans debate on what to cut and who will be harmed, I do believe a third party presidential candidate for 2012 can make a great deal of headway by introducing such a political question to the American Voter. For given the choice between cutting money from Meals on Wheels which feed senior citizens or cutting the benefits of Americas’ highest paid Public Workers. Does anyone care to tell this Child of the 70’s which one carrys more political weight?

Bullying: Republicans Leading by Example
March 10, 2011 by ItheConsumer.
With President Obama and the First Lady talking about bullying I do believe the Republicans are leading by example. For why the Republicans ran in 2010 on debt and jobs, it seems that leadership in Ohio, Michigan, and Wisconsin are a clear example of how bullying in America is out of control. In fact, the Republicans actions can be seen by some to show how bullying the minority in order to get your way is ok. So why I applaud the President and First Lady for supporting the efforts of many who know bullying is not the answer, I do believe the Republicans in America are in the forefront of the problem by leading by example.
In fact, knowing that Conservatives weakness is Greed and they can’t meet their ideology unless they can support individual rights over collective rights, I wonder why the Democrats don’t exploit the bullying by demanding the Republicans live up to the States obligations. For why it is easy to bully the public workers by taken away their collective bargaining rights and lowering their pay. Forcing the current Establishment to pay in full all money due the public workers in just compensation so their contracts can be broke IMHO is a perfect way to show how bullies can be dealt with peacefully.
Yes, bullying in America may be out of control; however, when we see our Elected Officials lead by example how to use those tactics in order to get ones’ way I do believe the President and Congress have an uphill battle. For what is the difference between the bully on the playground demanding lunch money from his fellow students and the Republican Leadership in the Halls of States demanding the pay of their fellow citizens? Since other than the amount of greed and the individuals who benefit, isn’t a Bully just someone who believes they don’t have to be Human living in a Civilized World.

Just Walk Away
March 3, 2011 by ItheConsumer.
With the governors of Ohio and Wisconsin leading the charge to do away with collective bargaining I do believe the present Public Workers should just walk away. For with lower wages, worse working conditions, and an uncertain future who could blame our police, firefighters, teachers, and all the rest of the Public Workers from walking off the job and seeking employment elsewhere. And why I am sure that a Day of Resignation would send chills down the spine of the Conservative Movement behind the scene since they are betting that a strike would only help their cause. Knowing what the political and societal fallout would be from Public Workers just walking away, I wonder if the Governors and General Assemblies of the States really want to do away with collective bargaining.
For with the Class of 2011 not being able to graduate along with every student not being able to go to the next grade due to the lack of teachers. To the parents which would have to forfeit their jobs in order to stay home with their children. And what about the colleges which won’t have a freshman class and thus lose millions in funding. To the Employers who will no longer have the workforce and thus cause wages to increase or move away. Than we have the Banks which would have loans and property values drop like flies; however, on the bright side the governors and general assembly would be able to cut more spending since the state revenue would be considerable less over the next four years.
Now I realize that some believe Governor Walker and others are doing what they think is right. And why I can understand how some people are easily led to believe Public Workers have a better life than they do. Nevertheless, who among us want to put up with 30 students in a classroom let alone the 60-120 students which will come as Community Elders deal with the state cutting funds to educations? Who among want to stand in landfills all day? And so why some people might think Public Workers have it easy, I don’t see a whole lot of them putting in their applications.
Thus, the states may face budget crisis and the people did elect the Republicans to lead in solving the problem; however, I wonder if they knew that the ones they put into elected office was going to change their life in the wrong direction. For how many Americans are willing to take on the jobs Public Workers do now or the worse conditions they will surely face in the next years. So why I can’t stand behind the Governors of Ohio, Wisconsin, and others or the Democratic Leadership which has allowed this to happen, speaking as a private citizen, I do have to wonder why the Public Workers don’t just walk away. Except the fact they have more respect for their fellow Americans than I do believe the Governors of the states have.

Reducing Pay and Benefits for State Elected Officials
February 17, 2011 by ItheConsumer.
Since many Republican Governors want to reduce the benefits and pay of Public Workers maybe the Citizens of those states should look at reducing the benefits and pay of their Elected Officials. For if it is good for the gander than surely the governors and other elected officials wouldn’t mind if their healthcare benefits were not eliminated, their office budget was reduced, and their salary was slashed in order for the state to save money. In fact, the citizens should demand IMHO all benefits and salaries of Elected Officials be suspended immediately since it was the fault of the Governor and State Officials to insure the State Treasury.
Yes, a harsh manner to get their attention that collective bargaining and retirement agreements of Public Workers is a right Americans take seriously; however, it would be a quick test of Public Loyalty to see how many Elected Officials are willing to serve the Citizens of the State and not the interest of a few. Because why I do not blame Public Workers for protesting what is becoming a national movement to make Government Labor and Management cheaper, knowing that it goes much deeper than a pay check, I wish them luck in getting their elected officials to listen to Common Sense.
Besides, being Anti-Authoritarian I wonder if the Republicans Governors would stay or would they pull a Sarah Palin and resign when they realize they could no longer make millions by serving the nest interests of the Citizens in their State. Since just the money they make from political fund raising could easily (and in my opinion) make up for the states being in the financial problems.

Should Public Workers Just Walk Off the Job?
February 16, 2011 by ItheConsumer.
With Speaker Boehner saying “So be It” when it comes to our public workers losing their job and many Conservatives and Republicans wanting to take away Public Workers benefits and retirements, I have to ask why shouldn’t all Public Workers just walk off the job. For I wonder what these Conservatives and Republicans will do when they call 911 and no one answers or they go to drop off their children at school only to find out no one is there to watch their children as they go to work. Yes, all the protesting in the street will only help build the fires of divide as the debate goes forward; however, I wonder how many sick days it would take before Conservatives and Republicans realize that their Whole World can’t exist without Public Workers doing their job.
For imagine waking up tomorrow and find no police on the streets, no first responders answering the call for help as morning accidents pile up, or no county emergency room being open. Not to speak of entire construction projects coming to a dead halt as no inspections or permits can be done. Yes, America would truly come to a halt the day all Public Workers call in sick in protest of Conservatives and Republicans attack them by wanting to cut their pay, eliminate the benefits, and dismantle their retirement. And who can blame the Public Workers since it was Conservatives and Republicans who is responsible for the Local, State, and Federal governments being in the mess that we are in.
No, a bad idea made only worse by the fact Conservatives and Republicans are not willing to take the hard cuts they are demanding from Public Workers. For where is the Law repealing Our Elected officials benefits and retirement plans. Where is the Law demanding that all Elected Officials take the money they receive in fund raisers and put it into the Treasury? For asking someone making $100,000.00/yr. to take a 10% pay cut when they are raising millions of dollars to cover their expenses and asking someone making less than $50,000.00/yr. who by law cannot handouts or tips to take a 10% pay cut is not the same. Nor can you tell me it is for the good of the community since the Public Workers will have less money to support Local, State, and Federal Businesses.
However, by Conservatives and Republicans declaring war on Public Workers I hope they are prepared to wait days for their building, hunting, and other permits. For why would a State need more than one person to issue hunting permits when it shouldn’t matter how long citizens have to wait in line or even if those citizens can’t hunt at all that season. So I hope the Public Workers would walk off the job just to show the rest of America what will happen if the Conservatives and Republicans have their way eliminating State and Federal jobs.
