Keeping Americas’ Hopes and Promises

Why I am not sure where you stand on the current healthcare reform movement, I do wish the Radio and TV Pundits would take a civil class or two from Americas’ Historians and Scholars on how Americans have worked over the last 200 plus years to improve the Quality of Health and Medical Services and Treatment. For why I am the last one in the world you want explaining how such a thing has happened giving the current Political Discord between the Learned and Unlearned of My Brothers and Sisters of the 70’s relationship between an Informed Patient and a Doctor of Medicine or really get into the middle of President Obama and Members of Congress working with Americas’ Private and Public Healthcare Insurance Companies to Ensure Americas’ Institutions of Health and Medicine stay reverent in the 21st Century. Nevertheless, in the Spirit of Keeping Americas’ Promises I do believe Americas’ Candidates and Incumbents need to be educated on the fact that some of the Children of the 21st Century have already discovered the Reference Desk Librarian at the National Library of Medicine.

For why this Unlearned Unbridled Anti-Authoritarian Child of the 70’s by Freewill and Self-Nature must wait on Commerce and Industry to sell me a Personal Medical Reference Desk Librarian and a Daily Health Monitor, knowing that My Peers, Community Elders, and the Children of the 21st Century are already building a Better Relationship between the American Patient and Americas’ Doctors, Nurses, and PA’s. Let me use my limited experience with My Parents and Peers EMT Community Services and their Civil Battle over the last 30 years to help Americas’ Institutions to demonstrate not If, but When Americas’ Community Emergency and Health Services get the serious upgrade they need in order to do their JOB.

Because like President Obama, I’m not going to say how easy it is to combine 911 Services and You-Tube technology; however, in seeing the endless Societal Benefits that can come out of such marriage I’m not going to say how Bold the Children of the 70’s are going to be knowing the shortcomings of the Employer Based Healthcare System built on the backs of the Parents and Grandparents of the Youth of the 60’s and Silver Spoons of the 70’s. For why someday I might be able to look up and see a flying robot assisting a car accident victim until professional help arrives. I’m not saying some 10-year-old Child today won’t make that type of 911 Community Services available to Local, State, and Federal Governments in the not distant future.

For well aware that it will take both the Learned and Unlearned of Society to return a Civil Privilege to Mankinds’ Government and Powers-that-Be, but knowing Americas’ Elected Officials and Citizenry has the ability to fix the Health Issues of the 20th Century and prepare for Human Events like Katrina, Haiti, and Chile with such an Individual’s Right to Know. I do wonder why the CEOs of Business can’t sponsor Americas’ Community Health Services to provide yearly medical checkups and other routine medical procedures unable to be done by the Informed Patient or a trained family member.

For looking at the Big Picture, I do think it would be neat to once again if Congress could allow you to call up your local Doctor Office or Emergency Rooms in order to get answers to your Health Questions. And though I realize that a Community Reference Desk Librarian may not be able to give out Health or Medical Advice, I am sure they can work with the other Medical Professionals in order to get the average American Citizens safe and reliable answers and information. Especially since in the event that Local First Responders and International Disaster Teams need to be on scene immediately I can see where the technology of flying robots could deliver assistance until Professionals arrive. Because living by Common Knowledge and Common Sense, knowing that a Doctor cannot be in the back pocket of every American I ask My Brothers and Sisters of the Human Race if they think having a remote connection to Americas’ Emergency and Health Services is worth the expense.
