Accepting the Challenge of Change
February 24, 2009 by ItheConsumer.
Why I was not invited to the White House for the Fiscal Responsibility Summit I cannot help but comment on what I witnessed today. For why the extreme Left and Right may still want to believe that they are in the 20th Century I am happy to see that under the guidance of President Obama and Senator McCain that headway was made on the major issues facing America over the next several years. However, I must question My Elders on limiting the Debate of Ideas to those selected by the Administration to attend. Therefore, I ask President Obama to go through with the gathering of ideas and making a Report subject to review by “We the People” for 60 days of Public Comments that would be included in his Final Report.
Yes, time is of essence, but I do believe that the American Citizenry would be better served by the White House and Congress if the American Layman Citizen could be included in the Idea Building of how best to handle the several issues spoke about in the break-off sessions. For why I realize that there is no single Prefect Answer on how America can deal with the budget. I do believe that Americas’ Democratic and Republican Elected Officials would be shocked to discover how well informed “We the People” are about the trouble of allowing Washington to keep on spending without regard to the debt that they are burdening the Children of the 21st Century with in the Future.
So why I urge you to write President Obama and your Congressperson in support of Fiscal Responsibility I do hope that you will include your Personal Opinion on any ideas that can help Americas’ Democratic and Republican Civil, Political, and Religious Leaders get the Federal Budget back under the control of “We the People” in the next few years. For faced with a Do-Nothing Loyal Opposition due to the fact that they disagree with a small percentage of the efforts of “We the People” I do believe that President Obama and the 111th Congress needs to know that they have the Freewill of the Nation to take the necessary steps which will see America return to a Balanced Federal Budget sometime in the Future.
